You don't have to start a fire to check whether the smoke detectors in your house are doing their job. You just press the test button for a quick verification. Now you can test your antivirus protection in much the same way. The Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization (AMTSO) today announced the release of five tools to help users verify that their antivirus protection is working.
